Retired

Equus Champion sire of 2015/16, Trippi has sired over 80 stakes winners worldwide, including nine individual Grade 1 winners.  His son, Jet Dark, is one of only two three year olds to win the country’s most prestigious WFA mile, the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate, in the past 50 years.  His winners to runners ratio is an impressive 80%.  Trippi has made an impact as a Broodmare sire too, with his grandson Liam’s Map siring the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes (Gr.1) winner, Colonel Liam.  Trippi’s success as a Broodmare sire also includes Gabor, winner of the Thekwini Stakes (Gr.1) and King Of Gems, winner of the Concorde Cup (Gr.2).
